MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Not much was done these last few days. Tuesday and Wednesday were interrupted during 4th periods for the student/faculty basketball and volleyball games.

I did give out a reading schedule for the holidays to guide you in completing the reading of To Kill a Mockingbird, as well as the remaining study guides for chapters 15-31. In that packet I also included a list of four possible extra credit projects that you have the option of completing to turn in upon returning on January 7th, 2008.

Here are links to these two items:

This is your chance to help your grade and to prepare for the final test on the novel. The reading schedule is just a suggestion. You can follow and schedule you choose or you may use mine.

When we return, we will review the study guides, watch the movie, and take the final test.

During those two weeks, we will also be working on a research project that will be turned in on Monday, January 14th and preparing for the mid-term exam on January 17th.

As you can see, the last two weeks of the semester are packed with important activities. We will be working hard from the very first minute of class on Monday, January 7th. Be prepared.

If you have any questions or concerns as you finish the novel or work on the projects, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me at: scedge@yahoo.com
