- Ms. Wood gave you some good pointers on time management and preparation for the upcoming research project.
RESEARCH
- We continued with the teaching presentations on the research skills on p. 343-350 in The Write Source.
- We discussed more skills with the works cited page and compiling note-cards.
- We also looked at a powerpoint on some skills needed for checking the owner of websites: www.easywhois.com
- The assignment sheet for the research project was handed out and the topics were selected.

- Time was allowed for the students to research their state in the almanac during class.
HOMEWORK
- Remember that we are going to the media center tomorrow to continue our research.
- Make sure you have your note-cards to record your information.
